Your Coach
Kate Benefico

Hi, I’m Kate - a Transformational Development Coach, utilizing practices rooted in positive psychology and neuroscience to be your partner in creating positive change.
I believe in the power of prioritizing well-being, along with mindful thinking, to improve lives and businesses - a path that I’ve been actively pursuing in my own life for over a decade.

With 15 years of corporate experience in sales and commercial operations across diverse industries—from biotechnology to fashion—my journey led me to recognize the urgent need for more effective leadership training. Earning my coaching certification was a pivotal moment, aligning with my commitment to developing leadership skills that drive success and fulfillment.
In my career, I observed how miscommunication, lack of alignment, and underdeveloped leadership can hinder organizational growth and employee satisfaction. Understanding the critical role that strong leadership plays in driving performance and nurturing talent, I felt compelled to bridge this gap. My mission is to empower leaders and teams with the tools and insights necessary to thrive in today's dynamic business landscape.
Playing a key role in integrating two sales teams taught me the importance of building trust and effective communication to enhance employee morale and create a more positive and supportive work culture. Understanding how doubt and uncertainty can interfere with one’s career journey, I went on to develop Everchanging to help my clients set goals, take action, and hold them accountable to their commitments, leading to personal and professional development.

Equipped with a BA in Communication from the University of Maryland, certified in Transformational Coaching (Leadership that Works), trained in Positive Psychology Coaching (Wholebeing Institute) and Executive Coaching (Coach Training Alliance), as well as accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), I began my coaching journey working with clients privately, eventually broadening into a corporate setting.
I’ve worked with individuals at the start of their careers, those who are transitioning to new careers, as well as tenured senior level executives and leaders across a variety of industries.
In addition to working with my clients and partners, I spend time volunteering with non-profit organizations that are meaningful to me. I am honored to serve as a Leadership Coach with Braven, an organization that offers a career accelerating course for underrepresented college students to assist them in securing strong first jobs. I work with undergraduate students from City College of New York helping them prepare for their careers and life after graduation. Since 2017, I’ve also had the privilege of volunteering at the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House Senior Center in Manhattan, where I reside with my husband and dog. I am a firm believer that donating your time to others is a key source of happiness, helping both the giver and the receiver, and it is when I feel most fulfilled.

Possibilities become realistic when we set goals, take action, and hold ourselves accountable to the commitments we say we’ll make. When we are finally open to change.
I founded Everchanging in 2020 as a way to help others imagine a future they aspire to achieve, and successfully do so - by identifying goals, overcoming obstacles, and making informed decisions in order to create sustainable change in their lives and careers.
